About Me
I am a working mum with two children whom I love dearly. I feel honored to have made their birthdays special every year by making them a cake of their choice and flavour.
Over the years I have been asked by family and close friends for many different types of cakes to celebrate various occasion.
I love creating customised cakes that will forever be a slice of a special moment.
My Story
All my life I have loved being creative and would sit for hours sketching, drawing or sewing. But my story of creating custom cakes really begins with baking in my Granny’s kitchen to create a unique and special cake for my son’s first birthday.
My Granny has made cakes since before I was born, so having her guide me and show me a few tricks has brought me to this incredible journey I am so passionate and excited about.
Now
Every year when my children’s birthdays come around we sit together and decide on a theme and then get started with creating a blueprint for their birthday cake.
I have even had the privilege of creating my brother’s wedding cake for him and his beautiful bride.
Now I have my family and friends recommending me to others and with their love and support Custom Cakes was created.
Each project can take up to a week of baking, crafting, preparation and planning. Please accept my apologies if I am fully booked and cannot accommodate you personally. I will do my best to recommend you to other local small businesses in the area.

How I work
All these creations are baked in my kitchen at home. Most of my work is done in the still hours of the night when the little ones are sleeping.
